- 2 bay leaves
- Black peppercorns
Clean the mussels, definitely the worst work of preparation, and place in a large pot with the bay leaves, peppercorns, lemon party and a little water.
As the mussels, remove from heat and serve immediately open. They can be served with the shell itself or removing the flap.
It may be accompanied with a very mild aioli or mayonnaise.
