Lemon cake

With this recipe for lemon cake all to those who like the taste of lemon you can enjoy an easy sweet to make a great citrus flavor.


– 200 Gr. of flour
-1 Yeast tablespoon small
– Pinch of salt
– 2 Eggs
– 25 Gr. of sugar
– The zest of one lemon
– 25 Ml. olive oil
– 50 Ml. of cream
– A pair juice lemons
-150 Gr butter


We preheat the oven to about 190 ° C. If you are going to use a mold, it better be removable, previously we spread with butter and some flour.

Mix the yeast with the flour and salt in a bowl and heat a pot of water to a medium temperature. In another bowl mix the eggs, lemon zest and sugar together. We put this mixture to the ‘bath’ stirring constantly.

Once we get a consistent mix, remove and continue whisking to thicken a little more.

Then prepare another mixture with cream, lemon juice and oil, and in turn mix with egg mass and remove not stop until everything is well blended. Then add the butter and we return to beat.

When you have the dough ready, it’s time to throw it on the mold, if we want a sweet touch, we put sugar on top. I put it in the oven and brown them until we see it has good face.
